Iran’s FM Meets Ethiopian Officials

A02626689.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki who is currently in Ethiopia to participate in the 8th African Union (AU) summit met with the prime minister, parliament speaker and foreign minister of that country.

A statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said that during these meetings, the two sides discussed expansion of bilateral ties, specially in political and economic grounds, where Ethiopian officials appreciated Iran for her efforts to mediate peace between Chad and Sudan.

Meetings also included discussions on expansion of parliamentary ties, boosting of economic relations and investment by the two countries’ private sectors.

The Iranian foreign minister also conferred with the president of Comoros about development of mutual ties.
