India welcomes formation of Palestinian National Unity government

India welcomes formation of the Palestinian National Unity Government resulted from efforts made by all Palestinian parties, it was reported here Thursday. Spokesperson of India External Affairs Ministry, Navtej Sarna, said that New Delhi supported the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people and their efforts to rebuild their nation.”We trust that the formation of the new Palestinian Government of National Unity will help alleviation of the suffering of the common the resumption of peaceful dialogue under the Peace Process,” Sarna said.

He voiced New Delhi readiness to assist the Palestinian National Unity Government, formed on March 17, in its reconstruction efforts.
