GAZA , May 17, 2007, (WAFA)- At least six citizens were killed and scores others wounded as Israeli warplanes launched six raids on different targets across the Gaza Strip, medics and witnesses said.
In the city of Rafah, at least two citizens were killed when Israeli gun-ships pounded a vehicle on Thursday sunset.
Witnesses said that the car belongs to Municipality of Rafah was completely destroyed when a rocket pounded it.
Earlier, in Gaza City, Israeli gun-ships bombarded a target killing one citizen and wounding at least thirty, including women and children.
Medics said that Abdullah Al-Ghifary was instantly killed and several wounded, some of them critically, during the Israeli attack.
Witnesses said that the building hit with a missile was turned into rubble while other houses around were damaged.
Ministry of health added that one more citizen, Talaat Haniyya, was killed and eight others wounded in a fresh Israeli raid.
Witnesses said that Haniyya was killed in new Israeli raid targeted a post in al-Jala Street in Gaza.
Earlier, on Thursday, five more citizens, one critically, when a vehicle was targeted a car in Gaza city, according to medics and witnesses.
