Gov’t Spokesman Scoffs at US Efforts to Blacklist IRGC

A009056816.jpgIranian Government Spokesman Gholam Hossein Elham described as baseless and unfounded the recent words and efforts made by the US to list Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terror group, saying that nobody in the world would buy such worthless words. Speaking to FNA in the northern city of Amol on Saturday, Elham reminded that the terrorist nature of the US administration is now an evident and taken-for-granted fact for all the world people.

“Americans have faced the world with serious dangers and threats on the pretext of campaign against terrorism,” he continued.

Elham reminded that the US kills tens of innocent men and women in Afghanistan and Iraq on a daily basis, while it also suppresses Palestinians through its covert supports for the usurper regime of Israel.

He said while the terrorist nature of the US administration is becoming more evident to the world people each day, the world nations cannot stand the daily allegations and accusations made by the US of other countries.

Regarding the recent efforts made by the US to register Iran’s IRGC in the list of terrorist groups, the spokesman said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has clear and fully specified stances, which include supporting justice, defending the rights of all humans and promoting justice-based peace all throughout the world.”
