Iran, Tajikistan Exchange Foreign Tourists

A009056814.jpgIran and Tajikistan have agreed to exchange foreign tourists who take a trip to either country, an Iranian tourism official said here Saturday.Deputy head of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Hamid Baqayee told FNA that the agreement had been endorsed by the two sides during a recent visit to Tajikistan by Iranian officials.

“During the two-day visit to Tajikistan by Iranian tourism and cultural heritage officials, which took place at the invitation of Tajikistan’s Ministry of Culture, the two sides concluded many agreements, including the exchange of foreign tourists,” he said.

Baqayee said, “According to the agreement, the travel agencies of the two countries will start one or two-day tours for foreign tourists to take them to the other country.”
