Iranian Gov’t Supports Muslim Investors

A009056819.jpgIranian Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi said that government encourages and supports foreign investments in Iran, specially by Muslim countries, adding that the world of Islam is in need of such participation and partnership. Addressing a ceremony to inaugurate a Zinc production factory in the northwestern city of Zanjan on Saturday, the minister said Iranian government welcomes foreign investments in Iran by Muslim countries the same way it supports domestic investments by Iranian nationals.

He further called on officials and managers to take the present opportunities to utilize the existing resources and potentials to develop the country, and stressed that the required possibilities and facilities should be provided and the existing obstacles should be removed in order to increase investment and accelerate the country’s growth.

Zanjan Zinc Industries Co. with an annual production capacity of 7,500 tons and a total funding of 180 bln rials (USD20 mln) provides job for 250 individuals.
