Leader Dismisses West’s Allegations about Experts Assembly

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei ruled out claims made by western media about wide gaps and war of power in Iran’s Experts Assembly. “They (western media) endeavored to show that this assembly is involved with a war of power and partisan differences and undermine the public status and dignity of the experts through intensifying certain natural differences of taste,” Ayatollah Khamenei said during a meeting with the representatives of the Experts Assembly here in Tehran Thursday morning.

Underlining that the hues and cries of the alien media about the Experts Assembly meetings in the last two days indicated enemies’ continued hostility towards Iran, he added, “The Experts Assembly is not a battlefield for power, rather it is an arena of spirituality to work for God and safeguard the fundamental principles of the Revolution.”
