Iranian Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi took the United States, Britain and Israel responsible for repeated terrorist operations in eastern Iran during the last few months. “The United States, Britain and Israel motivate many terrorist groups in the country,” Pour-Mohammadi told reporters here on Tuesday, adding that Iran is facing regular waves of plots.
“When these countries face failure in political, cultural and international arenas, they resort to worn-out methods, which they themselves know are fruitless and inefficient,” the minister added.
Meantime, he reminded that Iran’s law enforcement troops are defending the country’s security and territorial integrity with maximum power, and said those in charge of unrests in eastern and southeastern provinces of the country have been killed or arrested.
