IRGC protects values of Revolution,said Ahmedinejad

President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is at the forefront of Islamic Revolution and is guarding its values stronger, more determined and more cohesive than ever.

Today the IRGC’s name is “associated with peace and strength” in the minds of the oppressed people all over the world, Ahmadinejad told the national assembly of IRGC commanders.
Today, the IRGC is the major center for educating righteous people, the president noted.
The IRGC has always been a standard-bearer in campaign against terrorism, he added.
Ahmadinejad said that rectifying certain foreign policy approaches has been one of the most important steps taken by the ninth administration, adding, “Government has always been seeking to adopt active foreign policy (approaches) and to draw upon all sources of power to realize the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.”
“The Iranian nation, as a cultured, peaceful and influential nation, brings the message of deliverance to the world, and the terrorists, warmongers, and murders of the world should not have a claim to humanity’s leadership,” Ahmadinejad noted.
Iran has had the highest level of cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and in return has enjoyed only the least rights it is entitled to according to IAEA rules and regulations, he pointing out, adding, “The IAEA has officially announced that there is no diversion (toward military purposes) in Iran’s nuclear program.”
The administration is determined to manage the country’s problems using an Iranian-Islamic model and establish the concept that the officials are servants to the people.
