President Condoles with Nicaragua on Heavy Storms

A01926189.jpgIranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad extended his condolences to the Nicaraguan government and nation on the deadly storms in that country. Speaking during a phone conversation with his Nicaraguan counterpart Daniel Ortega Thursday night, the Iranian president voiced Tehran’s preparedness to assist Managua in curing the wounded and reconstructing the damaged sites and building.

For his part, Daniel Ortega appreciated Iran’s aids and supports, and expressed the hope that the ruins and damaged parts of his country would soon be reconstructed.
