Foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates conferred about bilateral ties in a meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York. During the meeting, the two top diplomats discussed impediments to the expansion of the two countries’ economic relations and decided to explore ways to resolve the existing problems in a meeting of Iran-UAE joint economic cooperation commission after the holy month of Ramadan, a statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said.
