Oil Ministry Starts Privatization of two Refineries

While in conversation with an industry source based in Iran, a polymerupdate team member was told today that the refineries of Lavan and Bandar Abbas have to be privatized by the Iran Oil Ministry by January 20th. The source said, “The number of Oil Ministry operated companies which are to be transferred to the private sector has reached 40. The State Privatization Organization has granted approval to the privatization of 23 firms.”
