President Felicitates Germany on National Day

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a message to Horst Koehler on Tuesday extended his congratulations to the German president, government and nation on the country’s national day. Also in his message to the German president, Ahmadinejad expressed the hope that the age-old and friendly relations between the two Iranian and German nations as well as the positive grounds existing for the two sides’ cooperation would facilitate joint efforts to further develop Tehran-Berlin relations, a statement released by the Presidential Press Office said.
