Iran, Kazakhstan Ink 4 Cooperation Agreements

A0090568120.jpgIran and Kazakhstan signed four agreements on mutual cooperation in different fields and issued a joint communiqué here in Tehran on Monday. The documents were endorsed following talks between the two countries’ presidents.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on library and archiving cooperation and a protocol on cooperation and reorganization of shipping lines and tourism in the Caspian Sea are among the said agreements.

The third letter of agreement pertained to the sisterhood of the Iranian port city of Amirabad and the Kazakh port city of Aktau.

Sisterhood of the Iranian port city of Anzali and the Kazakh port city of Aktau on the Caspian Sea was the fourth letter of understanding signed by the two sides’ officials.

The Iranian and Kazakh presidents also signed a joint communiqué at the end of the meeting.
