Minister: Powers’ Financial Terrorism against Iran Futile

A01853723.jpgIran’s Economic Minister Davoud Danesh Jafari said great powers have failed in their efforts to undermine Iran’s financial system. The minister made the remarks during his address to the joint meeting of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington.

“When threats and hostile plots of the great powers failed, they, in collaboration with international economic and monetary systems, sought to undermine Iran’s financial system. But all these efforts to undermine my country’s financial system yielded no fruit and ended in failure,” the Iranian minister said.

“These powers strive to promulgate lies against Iran’s economy through using wrong data and information. Yet, we are confident that these powers will fail in their efforts to isolate Iran’s financial system.”

Danesh Jafari viewed the attitude of the said powers as a warning for all the world countries which have grown dependent on the world’s financial and economic systems.
