Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad introduced Gholam Hossein Nozari and Ali Akbar Mehrabian to the parliament as his nominees for the post of the Oil and Industries ministers, respectively. Vice-president for parliamentary affairs Ahmad Moussavi had earlier announced that the president would introduce Mehrabian and Nozari – who are now the caretakers of the same ministries – to the parliament once their three-month caretaking term ended.
