Lebanon’s presidential election was postponed for a week to December 7 to allow for more talks between rival leaders on a compromise candidate, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said on Thursday.The election by parliament was due to take place on Friday, Nov 30. It is the sixth time that the vote was delayed by differences between the country’s pro- and anti-Syrian groups.
