Around 80 companies from Iran showcased their agricultural, cosmetic, textile and home appliances products at the exhibition which ended yesterday.

The event will help the Turkmen to enhance their knowledge of Iranian artifacts. Till now local exporters have not explored the Iranian market instead they paid heed only to Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and Belarus.

This expo has opened avenues for both Turkmen and Iran businessmen for the expansion of their exports. With the efforts of both country’s Government, a healthy cooperation in technical, engineering, road construction, construction of power houses, oil and gas projects, can be expected.

The two countries have had significant political, economic and cultural cooperation in recent years and the volume of trade exchanges between the two sides exceeded $1.3 billion last year.
