Pakistani Official: IPI Gas Pipeline to Benefit Masses of Region

A033411031.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) Chief Minister of Pakistani Balochistan Sardar Saleh Muhammad Bhotani on Saturday said Pakistan and Iran enjoy strong brotherly relations, adding that Iran-Pakistan-India gas pipeline would benefit people of both countries.

Speaking in a meeting with Iranian Counsel General Ali Aryannejad who called on him in Quetta, Pakistan on Saturday, Bhotani hoped that measures would be taken to further strengthen relations between the two countries.

He thanked the Iranian government for taking deep interest in development of infrastructure and electrification of bordering areas of Balochistan.

Meanwhile, Iranian Counsel General said the government is interested in helping Pakistan in construction of Quetta-Taftan highway which would play an important role in development of the area.
