Iran, Morocco to Boost Tourist Ties

A009017213.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) Iran are Morocco are decisive to bolster cooperation in the tourism sector, an Iranian tourism official said here on Monday.

Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Managing Director for international affairs, Mohammad Kazem Kholdinasab told FNA that an Iranian delegation of senior ICHHTO officials are already in Morocco to discuss expansion of cooperation with their Moroccan counterparts.

“The two countries have already signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and the two sides are due to discuss implementation of the same memo during the current visit,” he added.

He said that during the trip, the Iranian delegation is also slated to pay a visit to the International Tourism Fair in Rabat.
