Iranian Envoy Meets Armenian FM

TEHRAN (FNA) Iran’s incoming Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Saghaiyan submitted his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian in a meeting in Yerevan on Wednesday.

Oskanian welcomed the Iranian envoy, and wished him every success at the post, stressing that Armenia attaches importance to bilateral relations and cooperation with Iran, specially within international organizations.

“Armenia assesses highly the development of the Armenian-Iranian relations and intends to deepen them. The visit of Iran’s President to our republic last year contributed to the process,” Oskanian said.

For his part, the Iranian Ambassador assured he will do everything in his power to strengthen bilateral relations.
