Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions and those who followed them till the Day of Judgment.“Fight against those who believe not in Allah, nor in the Last Day, nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (Surat al-Tawbah, 9:29).Â
The son of Shaykh Ahmad Yasin was just 15, when he wished to participate in Jihad. Three years he trained with a Palestinian special squad and when he was 18 he was martyred in his first battle against Isreali invaders. When he knew about his son’s Martyrdom, Shaykh Ahmad Yasin, may Allah be merciful to him, voiced pleasure over his son’s faith. The Shaykh of Mujahideen Ahmad Yasin said: “Invaders wanted to crush the will of the Palestinian people and eliminate heroes of the armed resistance movement, but they will inevitably lose, when they will see that arrests they make and villainous murders of our brothers only give us strength and strengthen our devotion to our land and our sanctities”.Â
Our brothers Hajimurad Sheykhov and Shamsuddin were martyred in Shamilkala during the fierce battles against many times outnumbering forces of kuffar. They were nice Mujahideen, humble in front of Allah and rebellious in front the enemy. Allah Akbar! May Allah reward them by gardens of the Paradise and by meeting our beloved Messenger, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, near al-Kawthar river!Â
Haji-Murad was not even 20, but he already has been participating in Jihad with his father, amir of the Buynaksk Jama‘ah of “Sayfullah”, Bammatkhan Sheykhov.Â
Praise be to Allah, during these several years he and Shamsuddin made many things, by the will of Allah, took part in many operations and sieges of the enemy.Â
Haji-Murad and another brother participated in the elimination of an enemy of Allah and His Messenger, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, Mahti-Haji, who was Abu Jahl of contemporary times. After a brief admonition, when that hypocrite refused to stop reviling the Religion of Allah and Muslims, Haji-Murad shot him, emptying a whole gun cartridge. They once again offered him an opportunity to repent and utter the shahadah before his death, but that animal continued to let forth a stream of oaths.Â
It is reported that ‘Abdur-Rahman Ibn ‘Awf, may Allah be pleased with him, told: “During the battle of Badr we stood in a row. Looking right and left I found out that I was between two youths from Ansar. That moment I thought that it would be better if more powerful warriors would be near me. That time one of those young men touched me and asked: “Uncle, do you know Abu Jahl?” I said: “Yes. And why do you need him, my nephew?” He said: “I heard that he insulted the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. I swear by Him in Whose hand is my soul! If I will see him, I will not leave him until one of us dies.”Â
I was struck by his words, but then the second youth touched me and asked the same. Some time later I saw Abu Jahl anxiously walking between warriors and said: “Look! That is the man you asked me about.” The youths rushed towards him and stabbed him to death by their swords. When they returned, they told the Messenger of Allah, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about that. He asked: “Who of you killed him?” Both of them replied: “I killed him.” Then he asked: “Have you wiped over your swords?” They replied: “No.” Looking at the two swords, he said: “You both killed him.” Then he ordered that the property of the killed man must be given to Mu‘adh Ibn ‘Amr Ibn al-Jamuh. Regarding those young men, they were Mu‘adh Ibn ‘Amr Ibn al-Jamuh and Mu‘adh Ibn ‘Afra”.Â
“Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be Paradise. They fight in Allah’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success” (Surat al-Tawbah, 9:111).Â
