TEHRAN (FNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is due to pay a visit to Syria on Wednesday.
During the two-day visit, Mottaki is slated to confer with senior Syrian officials, including President Bashar al-Assad, Vice-President Farouk al-Shara and Foreign Minister Walid al-Mualem, on mutual ties, regional developments and latest conditions in Gaza and Lebanon, an informed source said in Damascus on Tuesday.
The source also stated that the visit is a part of the two countries’ continued consultations and coordination and aims to integrate Iran and Syria’s stances on regional conditions.
