TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki is scheduled to pay a visit to Tajikistan at the head of a high-ranking delegation on Monday.
During the two-day trip which will take place at the invitation of Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrohkan Zaripov, Mottaki is due to follow up agreements held between the two countries during the recent visit to Tehran by President Emomali Rahmon, and also discuss implementation of plans and projects agreed by the two sides earlier.
In their meetings, the Iranian top diplomat and Tajik officials are slated to discuss ways of deepening and strengthening commercial, economic and trade relations and explore avenues for implementation of various projects in the field of energy.
Moreover, the foreign ministers of the three Farsi-speaking countries of Iran, Tajikistan and Afghanistan will discuss joint issues and ways to bolster political, economic and cultural relations on Monday.
