TEHRAN (FNA)- The managing director of Marun Oil and Gas Production Company said his firm is ahead of a planned program of production and is now producing 590,270 barrels of crude oil per day.
Ali Mohammad Javadi said that the aforementioned rate of production is 1,270 barrels more than the planned program, reminding that the company is ahead of the envisaged plan.
Referring to the growth rate of 32.6% of liquefied gases needed by the petrochemical units, he added that production of liquefied gases has increased to 26,518 barrels during the year 86 [Iranian year started 20 March 2007].
The managing director of Marun Oil and Gas Production Company further pointed to the reduction rate of burnt gases to 41 per cent last year by his company, and said that with the operation of Amak desulphurization refinery the burning of gases has decreased by about 2,064,000 sq.m. per day.
