TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iranian nuclear official said that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear activities will never come to a halt.
“There is no end for Iran’s nuclear program as the nuclear technology is improving in the world everyday,” deputy head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Mohammad Saeedi told IRNA in an interview published on Friday.
Saeedi pointed out that Tehran is determined to improve the quantity and quality of its centrifuges in accordance with international standards.
Iran intends to improve its centrifuge efficiency as the US is also changing its uranium enrichment machines from gas diffusion to a new generation of centrifuges, he added.
Saeedi also said that the Islamic Republic will exercise patience toward those countries which have not still acknowledged Iran’s nuclear breakthrough.
The official also restated President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s idea of a regional or international consortium in Iran proposed at the UN headquarters in New York two years ago which would allow foreign countries and companies to invest in Iran’s nuclear projects.
