Poll: US Campaigning for Iran War

TEHRAN (FNA)- The US propaganda campaign against Iran’s role in Iraq is to prepare the grounds for a war on the country, a recent poll suggests.

In a recent press tv poll, respondents were asked to state what in their opinion was the reason behind the recent smear campaign targeting Iran’s involvement in neighboring Iraq.

Approximately 49% of the participants said the US aims to prepare the grounds for a war against Iran, 39.17% maintained that the propaganda campaign means to cover up US failure in Iraq and 12.17% held that it is merely a form of psychological war.

Some 47.93% of the participants were from the US, however, respondents from the UK, Canada, Iran and Israel also took part in the survey.
