Judiciary Chief Terms Iran’s Forces Model of Resistance

TEHRAN (FNA)- Judiciary chief said Iran’s armed forces are the exemplary model of Islamic resistance in the face of hostile acts by hegemonic powers.

The power of Iran’s armed forces emanates from a “divine” source, Ayatollah Hashemi Shahroudi was quoted by press tv as saying on Thursday.

Today, Iran is the best model of resistance against the plots of the enemies, he said, describing the Islamic Republic as the moral supporter of the Islamic world.

In a ceremony arranged to mark the Liberation of Khorramshahr, he said the armed forces proved that the “power of faith” can “overcome” highly advanced technological equipment.

The Iranian city of Khorramshahr was liberated from Iraq on May 24, 1982, during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran.
