TEHRAN (FNA)- Syria’s head of international markets and exhibitions organization Friday night said that Iran’s presence in the 55th Damascus International Exhibition was significant.
On the closing ceremony of the exhibition, Muhammad Hamud told the Islamic republic news agency that presence of the Iranian companies in the Damascus exhibition indicates Tehran-Damascus deep-rooted politico-economic ties.
The Syrian official added that bright future for both countries would be promising thanks to the great concentration of the two sides’ officials on promotion of bilateral cooperation on trade and economy.
Referring to tens of development projects implemented by Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Syria, Hamud expressed hope that the projects will be shortly completed.
The 55th Damascus International Exhibition was held in Damascus on August 15-22 in which 30 Iranian companies put their industrial products on display.
