Iran appreciates Sudan’s efforts in Darfur: Mottaki

TEHRAN, Aug. 26 (ISNA)-Iran appreciates Sudan’s prudent efforts in Darfur issue, said Iran’s foreign minister.As new Sudanese ambassador Suleiman Abdul Tavvab presented his credentials Manouchehr Mottaki said that Iran is ready to aid Sudan with Darfur and Chad issues.

Mottaki also noted that Iran and Sudan share common concerns and interests as two important countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

Sudanese ambassador on his part said that his government is determined to increase relations with Tehran.
