TEHRAN (FNA)- Some 40 agricultural cooperation agreements have been inked between the Islamic Republic of Iran and different foreign countries over the past three years, a senior Iranian official said.
Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad for development, international affairs and Africa cooperation Peyman Falsafi noted that most of the cooperation agreements have been inked with Latin America, Asian, Arab and African states.
According to the Islamic republic news agency, he further cited the trend of international cooperation in the field of agriculture as positive, adding the presence of Iran in the international fora has enforced its position across the world.
Referring to the importance of sharing experiences with other countries, he added some bylaws have been compiled for expediting the implementation of the agreements.
“As per the bylaws, a commission has been established to facilitate the dispatch of Iranian teams of experts abroad,” Falsafi said.
