NISOC Playing Major Role in Iran’s Daily Oil Production

A02390681.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Production manager of the National Iranian South Oil Company put the daily production of his company at 3.2 million barrels of crude oil on average since the beginning of this year.

Iranian year started 20 March 2008.

Ali Aqajarian added that the number of crude oil barrels has been recovered to 40 oil fields and 45 production factories through gas injection.

He said that from the said amount over 2mln barrels of crude oil are exported per day and the remaining is used as fuel or for the production of the refineries’ byproducts.

At the moment 83 per cent of the country’s oil and 40 per cent of the gas are produced in the south oil reservoirs of the country, he said.
