London Police Probe Attack on Iranian Embassy

A025820210.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Police in London are investigating an apparent petrol bomb attack on the Iranian embassy which caused little damage and no injuries.

No one was injured in the incident on Monday evening, the Metropolitan Police said, but the door of the embassy in Knightsbridge suffered minor fire damage.

A petrol bomb or similar projectile was likely the cause, although police said this had not been established for certain.

The officers were notified of the incident on Prince’s Gate in Knightsbridge neighborhood at around 8.00 p.m.

Detectives are examining closed-circuit TV footage from the area for clues about what happened.
