Iran Joins 6 Int’l Energy Bodies

A05165295.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- The Iranian parliament’s energy commission approved the country’s membership in six international energy organizations and unions, a parliamentary official said.

Speaking to PIN, member of the energy commission, Emad Hosseini, said the commission agreed with Iran’s membership in the International Energy Community, Regional Clean Sea Organization, International Water Community, Global Nuclear Community, The CIS Electric Energy Council and European Organization for Nuclear Research.

He added that the commission is studying the country’s membership in the International Gas Union, adding that its ratification needs more information from the Oil Ministry.
