Armenian Security Official to Visit Iran

A01592007.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Secretary General of the Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasarian is due to pay an official visit to Iran in near future.

During the visit, the two sides are to discuss issues on further development of bilateral relations as well as a wide range of issues on regional cooperation and security.

Armenia’s presidential press office told Armenpress that the issue was raised during a meeting in Yerevan between Baghdasarian and Iran’s ambassador to the country.

During the meeting, the Iranian envoy conveyed the greetings of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Saeed Jalili to his Armenian counterpart, and underscored the necessity for the continued expansion of Iran-Armenia ties.
