Iran Boosts Exports

“The global financial crisis has not influenced Iran’s economy due to the fact that Iran’s economy does not depend on foreign investors,” said the minister.

Mirkazemi arrived in Bishkek on Monday as the head of a commercial delegation attending the Ninth Iran-Kyrgyzstan Joint Economic Commission.

“About 12 to 15 percent of Iran’s trade is with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS),” he commented according to a press tv report.

“The figure is expected to increase in the future,” Mirkazemi added.
