Iran to Hold 24th Fajr Music Fest

A04761744.jpgTEHRAN (FNA)- Iran is to host the 24th International Fajr Music Festival, which will feature classic, traditional, orchestral, pop and choral music.

The selection committee of the international event has chosen 71 ensembles from 167 potential participants to take part in the national and international competition sections.

The international festival will present music ensembles from Austria, Estonia, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Syria, press tv said.

Founded in 1986, the International Fajr Music Festival is the most prestigious festival of its kind in Iran.

Affiliated with the United Nation’s Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), it will run from December 9 to 17.
