Pristina – The Czech Republic, the country who heads the up coming presidency of the EU, expects that more countries will recognise Kosovo in the coming year.
Deputy Prime Minster for European Affairs, Alexander Vondra, said he expects recognitions to come from EU countries which have not done so yet.
“The number of countries who have recognised Kosovo is growing. No doubt, during the coming year more EU countries would proceed with Kosovo recognition,” said Vondra.
Senior representative for security and foreign policy in the EU, Javier Solana is currently in Prague meeting with senior leaders of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic said integration of the Western Balkans will be a priority.
