Sofia. For now National Movement for Stability and Progress /NMSP/ supports the existence of Bulgarian Energy Holding, but this is a temporary compromise, NMSP Deputy Chairman Milen Velchev answered to the question whether the party was in favor or against the existence of Bulgarian Energy Holding.
Earlier on Monday at an energy roundtable in the context of upcoming elections, Velchev said Bulgargaz, a company included in Bulgarian Energy Holding, had to be privatized. He added that Sofia heating utility firm Toplofikatsia, the latest company to join the holding, had to be privatized as well.
Speaking to journalists, Milen Velchev said he did not see why Toplofikatsia should stay within the holding for a long time since it had to be privatized soon.
He noted the only company in holding that should not be privatized was Kozloduy NPP.
Bulgarian Energy Holding is comprised of Bulgargaz, Electricity System Operator, Kozloduy NPP, National Electricity Company, Maritsa East mines, Maritsa East 2 TPP, Bulgartransgaz, Bulgartel.
