CEDB announces distribution of chairmen’s positions in standing committees

After consultations with the parliamentary groups, the Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) announced the distribution of the chairmen’s positions in the standing committees. 

The chairman of the ad hoc committee on the changes in the regulations of the parliament – Iskra Fidosova, announced the distribution of the deputy chairmen’s seats in the committees before journalists.

The committee on economic policy, energy and tourism would be headed by the Blue Coalition, while the deputy chairmen would be from the CEDB, Order, law and Justice (OLJ) party, and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF).

The budget and finance committee would be chaired by a representative of CEDB, while the deputy chairmen would be from CEDB and the Coalition for Bulgaria.

The legal affairs committee would be again chaired by CEDB, and the deputy chairmen would be from the Ataka party, CEDB, and the Coalition for Bulgaria.

The regional policy committee would be chaired by CEDB, and the deputy chairmen would be from Ataka party, the Coalition for Bulgaria, and CEDB.

The foreign affairs committee would be chaired by OLJ, and the deputy chairmen would be from the Blue Coalition, CEDB and the Coalition for Bulgaria.

The internal security and public order committee would be headed by be representative of CEDB, and the deputies would be from the Ataka party, CEDB and MRF.

The agriculture committee would be chaired by CEDB, and the deputies would be from CEDB and MRF.

Then social affairs committee would be chaired by the Coalition for Bulgaria, and the deputies would be from OLJ and CEDB.

The education, science, youth and sports committee would be chaired by Ataka party and the deputies would be from CEDB and MRF.

The health committee would be chaired by CEDB, and the deputies would be from CEDB, the Blue Coalition and the Coalition for Bulgaria.

CEDB would not have representatives in the committee for control of the State Agency for National Security (SANS) and the anti-corruption committee, where the chairman’s position would be defined on a rotation principle by all parliamentary groups.

Iskra Fidosova explained that the reason is in the search for parliamentary ethics on behalf of CEDB.

The parliamentary group if CEDB would hold a session today, ay 04.00 pm to define the names of its representatives that would take the chairmen’s and deputies’ seats in the standing parliamentary committees.
