PASOK leader Georgios Papandreou takes measures for transparency in election

GREECE

“The market suffocates, small and medium-sized enterprises suffer and the unemployment rate endangers the families in Greece. The lack of state over the last years turned Greece into a state of inter-firm indebtedness and affairs”, the leader of the Greek oppositional political party PASOK George Papandreou said after his meeting with representatives of producers in the Piraeus quarter in Athens.

The opposition PASOK leader said he is to take measures for transparency in the party’s election campaign. The campaign will be financed with state money only and no other kind of financing will be allowed, Papandreou emphasized.
