IMF delegation to Bucharest to meet with PM Emil Boc

International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation, which is on a working visit to Bucharest on October 28 – November 9, is to meet Thursday with Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc.

It is not expected for the IMF mission to sing any agreement on the memorandum during the meeting, Minister of Transport Radu Berceanu said yesterday.

The IMF delegation arrived in Romania at the invitation of President Traian Basescu to revise the agreement on country’s foreign debt.

The second loan is worth around EUR 1.5 billion and is expected to be given in December as stated in the report of the second evaluation on the standby agreement.
