Serbia – Negotiations with IMF set to continue

The representatives of the Serbian government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will continue negotiations on Monday.

The talks will be held at the level of technical commissions, with the goal of defining individual items of the budget and to discuss mid-term and long-term plans for the reform of the public sector.

Tanjug has learned from the Serbian government that an agreement was reached with the IMF last Friday on the 2010 budget, which should have the deficit at four percent of the GDP.
