Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov meets with UNESCO Secretary General Irina Bokova

Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov met with UNESCO Secretary General Irina Bokova.

Parvanov greeted Bokova for being elected atop of the organization and remarked that her success is due mainly to her personal skills and then to the authority of the Bulgarian diplomacy and country’s work in the frames of UNESCO, Presidency’s press office announced.

President Parvanov also said that Bulgaria will continue taking active part in the realization of UNESCO initiatives and declared Bulgaria’s readiness to help and assist for the successful realization of ideas and projects concerning all countries in Southeast Europe.
