Montenegrin FM on Serbian cultural centers

Montenegrin Foreign Minister Milan Roćen said that Serbia has not submitted any demands to open up Serbian cultural centers in Montenegro. Roćen said that Montenegro has agreed to let Serbia open one consulate in Podgorica, along with the embassy.

“As far as cultural centers are concerned, I do not know anything about that, officially. There have been no new initiatives from Serbia, I heard this only in the media,” Roćen said.

Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić said that Serbia had recently insisted on opening three consulates in Montenegro, adding that if Podgorica does not approve this initiative, Belgrade would ask to open three Serbian cultural centers.
