Council of the EU to give its consent on liberalization of visa regime for Serbia

The Vice President of the European Commission Jacques Barrot announced the Council of the European Union will give November 30 its consent on liberalization of visa regime for Serbia.

“Serbia has gone out of its way to fulfill the criteria on liberalization of visa regime. On November 30 the Council of the European Union will give its consent on lifting visa regime,” Barrot said.

However, in his words, it is not clear whether Serbs will travel without visas as of December 19.
