If Macedonia fails to use the next six months to resolve the disputes that block its integration into the Euro-Atlantic community, the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) must consider its own alternatives, DUI member said on Friday.
In an interview for Radio Free Europe, DUI’s vice-president Teuta Arifi said the party must step up its presence and influence on the government in the process of resolution of issue related to Euro-Atlantic integration.
“DUI sees the idea for early elections unacceptable, as we don’t want snap polls if Macedonia is out of NATO and without a starting date if its EU accession talks,” Arifi said.
