Serbian President Boris Tadić is to visit Kragujevac and Kragujevac-based carmaker Zastava on Monday, his press office announced.
According to an annex to the agreement between Serbia and Fiat, the Italian automobile manufacturer will take over Zastava by the end of 2009, the statement issued in Turin, where Tadić was on Sunday, said.
Tadić will visit Kragujevac together with Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mlađan Dinkić.
This ministry also confirmed that the annex will be signed on Wednesday by Dinkić and Fiat Vice President Alfredo Altavilla.
The agreement also envisages the manufacturing of two new models of Fiat automobiles in the plants of the Kragujevac-based factory Zastava.
