Romanian citizens who want to travel to Turkey for a period of 90 days will not need visas, which were abolished on January 7, the Romanian Foreign Ministry announced.
Only passport will be needed in entering Turkey. Romanians who want to travel in Turkey are still advised to wear except the passport and ID card which contains additional personal data. The Romanian Foreign Ministry advised his countrymen not to leave the country without medical insurance, life insurance and travel insurance.
Turkey has decided to abolish visas for Romanian nationals last year, but now the government has taken a decision and adopted the date on which to introduce this measure.
