Status conference to be held today in Karadžić case

A status conference will be held today in the trial of Radovan Karadžić. Representatives of six countries are expected to give their statements.

The chamber of the Hague Tribunal conducting the trial against the former political leader of Bosnia’s Serbs has given Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, France, Holland and Iran a chance to submit oral statements concerning Karadžić’s claims that these countries directly and indirectly took part in the 1992-95 war.
